Abdullah Al Qubaisi, a member of the Northern Municipal Council, has raised concerns regarding the ongoing shortage of garbage bags in the Northern Governorate. He has received complaints from residents who have been without garbage bags for over three weeks, highlighting a lack of oversight in the distribution process. Al Qubaisi has demanded accountability from the Ministry of Municipalities and urged them to disclose their plans for monitoring and controlling the distribution of garbage bags.

One of the main issues identified by Al Qubaisi is the use of automated machines for distributing garbage bags in the Northern Governorate. He criticized these machines as ineffective and prone to malfunctioning, causing residents to visit municipality offices to obtain their bags. In contrast, other governorates do not face similar issues with their machines. Al Qubaisi called for a long-term solution from the Ministry, including a two-year plan based on the budget and the provision of sufficient reserve garbage bags to prevent future shortages.

The ongoing shortage of garbage bags in the Northern Governorate has been described as “shameful” by Al Qubaisi, who has been actively trying to address the issue. Despite his efforts to contact the Ministry, they claim to be unaware of the problem, further highlighting the need for increased oversight in the distribution process. Al Qubaisi’s concerns reflect the frustration of residents who have been left without a key service for weeks.

In light of the persistent issue surrounding garbage bag shortages, Al Qubaisi has emphasized the importance of implementing a comprehensive solution. He has called on the Ministry to take immediate action and ensure that residents in the Northern Governorate have access to the necessary garbage bags. Al Qubaisi’s advocacy for accountability and transparency in the distribution process underscores the urgency of resolving this issue to meet the needs of the community.

As a member of the Northern Municipal Council, Al Qubaisi’s efforts to address the shortage of garbage bags in the Northern Governorate are vital in ensuring that residents receive the essential services they deserve. By pushing for a long-term plan and adequate provisions for reserve garbage bags, Al Qubaisi is advocating for sustainable solutions to prevent future shortages. The Ministry of Municipalities must heed these calls for action and prioritize the distribution of garbage bags to avoid further disruptions for residents.

In conclusion, the ongoing shortage of garbage bags in the Northern Governorate has raised serious concerns among residents, with Abdullah Al Qubaisi leading the charge to address this issue. By demanding accountability, oversight, and a long-term solution from the Ministry of Municipalities, Al Qubaisi is working tirelessly to ensure that residents have access to essential services. The effectiveness of automated machines for distributing garbage bags must be improved to prevent future shortages, and the Ministry must take immediate action to rectify the situation. Only through collaborative efforts and proactive measures can the issue of garbage bag shortages in the Northern Governorate be successfully resolved.
