Celebration of the 6th of October anniversary at the Egyptian embassy

The Egyptian Defence Attache in the Sultanate of Oman celebrated the 6th of October anniversary by organizing a reception at Grand Millennium–Muscat Hotel. The event was held under the patronage of the guest of honour, Brigadier Yasser bin Khalifa Said Al Talabi, and was attended by various dignitaries including Khalid Radhi, the ambassador of to the Sultanate; Mohammed Abdulmoneim, political advisor at the embassy of Egypt in Muscat; advisor Ahmed Shuaib, deputy to the ambassador; and Mana Dhiya, the consul at the embassy. Also in attendance were high-ranking officials from the Sultan’s Armed Forces, diplomats, military attaches, and members of the Egyptian Community in Oman.

Captain Harb Mohammed Jumah Ghali, the Egyptian Defence Attache, delivered a speech highlighting the significance of the 6th of October anniversary to Egyptians and Arab nationals. He emphasized the importance of maintaining peace through strength and the Egyptian army’s commitment to modernizing its units and training its personnel to face potential challenges. Ghali stated that Egypt is prepared to use its power for justice and to support brotherly and friendly countries in times of need, despite any difficulties that may arise. He also acknowledged the strong historical ties between Egypt and Oman, which have seen significant progress in various areas.

The Egyptian-Omani relations have a long history dating back over 3,500 years and have experienced significant growth over the years. The cooperation between the two countries serves to strengthen the bonds between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Sultanate of Oman under the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and President Abdel Fattah El Sisi. The deep-rooted relationship between Egypt and Oman is characterized by mutual respect, trust, and a commitment to working together for the benefit of both nations.

The celebration of the 6th of October anniversary at the Grand Millennium–Muscat Hotel was a testament to the strong partnership between Egypt and Oman, as well as their shared values and commitment to regional stability and cooperation.
