Bahrain Security Forces Attend to More Than 16,000 Calls in July 2024

The Ministry of Interior in Bahrain recently released comprehensive statistics for July 2024, highlighting the efforts of the country’s security forces in maintaining public safety. The National Emergency Operations Centre received a total of 16,751 calls during the month, with patrol units responding to 13% of these calls. The majority of calls, approximately 66%, were related to emergency situations, while traffic issues accounted for 28% and security concerns made up 6%. The Coast Guard also played a crucial role, responding to 148 calls, with 89 calls specifically related to search and rescue operations.

The National Ambulance Service received 4,646 calls in July, with 3,078 related to medical emergencies. Additionally, 816 calls were for transportation from private hospitals to larger facilities, 328 calls were connected to traffic accidents, and 385 calls involved miscellaneous incidents. These statistics highlight the diverse range of emergencies faced by the service and underscore the vital role played by Bahrain’s security forces in ensuring the safety and well-being of its citizens.

The prompt and effective responses of Bahrain’s security forces to various emergencies demonstrate a commitment to public service and community safety. These efforts reinforce the importance of preparedness and rapid intervention in times of need.
