Bahrain and the UAE strengthen ties and cooperation

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain and UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan recently held a meeting in Abu Dhabi to discuss the strong ties between their countries and to reaffirm their commitment to further strengthening these relations. The meeting highlighted the continuous progress in cooperation across all levels and emphasized the importance of enhancing joint efforts to support development priorities in both Bahrain and the UAE. The leaders discussed their shared vision for achieving progress and prosperity for their peoples.

The meeting, which took place during a private visit by King Hamad to the UAE, was attended by several high-ranking officials from both countries. His Highness Lieutenant-General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Commander of the National Guard, His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of the King, and Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of the Royal Court, were present from the Bahraini side. On the UAE side, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chief of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, along with several officials attended the meeting.

The discussions between King Hamad and Sheikh Mohammed focused on the close ties between Bahrain and the UAE and their shared commitment to further strengthening these relations for the benefit of both nations. The leaders emphasized the need to continue working together to support development priorities and enhance cooperation in various sectors. The meeting provided an opportunity for the two countries to reaffirm their shared vision for progress and prosperity.

The meeting between King Hamad and Sheikh Mohammed underscores the strong and strategic partnership between Bahrain and the UAE.
