Bahrain and Iraq Enhance Labor Relations in Important Meeting

Nibras Taleb, the CEO of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) and Chairman of the National Committee to Combat Trafficking in Persons, recently met with Ahmed Ismail Ibrahim Al Kurwi, the Chargé d’affaires of the Iraqi Embassy in Bahrain. The purpose of the meeting was to enhance the relationship between Bahrain and Iraq, with a particular emphasis on cooperation and knowledge sharing in the field of labour market development. Taleb highlighted Bahrain’s ongoing efforts to improve working conditions and protect the rights of all stakeholders, including initiatives such as the Wages Protection System.
