The American University of Bahrain (AUBH) has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Etijah Coaching and Consulting Services, with the aim of providing enhanced opportunities for AUBH students in various aspects such as professional development, experiential learning, and academic enrichment. This partnership will enable AUBH students to gain valuable real-world work experiences and enhance their academic learning through fieldwork opportunities, summer internship programs, and internship opportunities for students to gain industry experience. Moreover, graduates from AUBH will have access to potential job openings at Etijah, facilitating a seamless transition from academics to professional careers.

The MoU between AUBH and Etijah outlines a collaborative framework through which Etijah will extend various opportunities to AUBH students both locally, regionally, and internationally. Students will have the chance to participate in course-related projects, apply their classroom knowledge to real-world projects, and work on their capstone projects with the expertise of Etijah professionals. Additionally, Etijah will provide opportunities for both students and faculty at AUBH to undergo training and professional development activities, subject to availability.

AUBH President Dr. Bradley J. Cook expressed his commitment to providing the best education to students through this partnership with Etijah. By offering students the chance to gain practical experience and develop essential skills for their careers, AUBH aims to prepare its students for success in their chosen fields. Etijah Coaching & Consulting Services Managing Director Dina Shabib also emphasized the importance of bridging the gap between classroom education and practical experience, stating that the partnership aims to empower AUBH students and alumni to excel in both academic and professional endeavors.

In addition to providing fieldwork opportunities and professional development activities, Etijah will also engage with the AUBH community through guest speakers, panel discussions on relevant topics, and sharing professional experiences with students. This collaboration will not only enhance the academic journey of AUBH students but also prepare them for the challenges of the professional world. By leveraging the expertise of Etijah professionals, students at AUBH will be able to gain a competitive edge in their chosen career paths.

Overall, the partnership between the American University of Bahrain and Etijah Coaching and Consulting Services signifies a commitment to providing students with valuable real-world experiences and opportunities for professional development. Through this MoU, students at AUBH will have access to a range of fieldwork opportunities, summer internship programs, and potential job openings, allowing them to transition smoothly from academics to professional careers. This collaboration highlights the importance of bridging the gap between classroom education and practical experience, ensuring that students are well-equipped to succeed in their chosen fields.
