Amir’s UN speeches resonate with the people’s desire for peace and justice.

Qatar’s role in the international community has been praised by the President of the 66th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al Nasr. He emphasized that the wise vision adopted by Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has played a significant role in making Qatar a model within the United Nations and solidifying its position as a major supporter of peace and stability. In an interview with QNA, Al Nasr highlighted the speeches of H H the Amir at the UN General Assembly, which consistently reflect the values of international peace, security, and stability. Qatar’s commitment to justice and peace globally, and its focus on enhancing cooperation among nations and peoples, has been a key focus of the Amir’s addresses.

Al Nasr emphasized that his election as President of the 66th Session of the United Nations General Assembly was a historic event for Qatar, showcasing the support and wise vision of the leadership, as well as the belief in the capabilities of the Qatari people to actively participate on the international stage. He praised Qatar’s ability to face global challenges with intelligence and flexibility, particularly in the midst of crises facing the world and the region. Qatar has established itself as a strong voice for mediation and peace through its effective diplomatic initiatives, further solidifying its position on the international stage.

Qatar’s hosting of the Council of Presidents of the United Nations General Assembly (UNCPGA) meeting and the issuance of the Doha Declaration were also highlighted by Al Nasr as significant diplomatic achievements. The Doha Declaration called for a ceasefire and the establishment of a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, showcasing Qatar’s deep commitment to humanitarian and international issues. These initiatives have added to Qatar’s record and further showcased its dedication to promoting peace and stability on the global stage.

In conclusion, Al Nasr noted that Qatar continues to enhance its active role in the international community, its commitment to values of cooperation and peace, and its position as a major supporter of peace and stability in the region and the world. With strong diplomatic initiatives and a commitment to justice and peace globally, Qatar has solidified its standing within the United Nations and continues to play a significant role in promoting peace and stability on the international stage. The wise vision of Qatar’s leadership, under the guidance of Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, has been instrumental in shaping Qatar as a model for other nations within the United Nations.
