The Education City Stadium is expected to be packed with spectators as Al Sadd and Qatar SC face off in the Amir Cup final on Friday. Organisers have received an overwhelming response to ticket sales, with Al Sadd fans outnumbering Qatar SC supporters. Wesam Rizk’s Al Sadd will be looking to secure their 19th crown, but Qatar SC, coached by Youssef Al Noubi, have shown their strength by beating top teams on their way to the final after 20 years.

The organising committee for the tournament is ensuring that preparations are on track for the highly anticipated final, with the event set to kick off at 7:00 pm. Tickets are available for QR50, QR30, and QR10, with 65 percent of available tickets already sold out within 48 hours of sales opening. Alongside the thrilling final, entertainment activities and prizes will be offered to fans, including 52 prizes and accessibility services to cater to blind and visually impaired fans.

The Education City Stadium, which has previously hosted major tournaments such as the FIFA World Cup, is well-equipped to handle the massive turnout expected for the final. Venues Operations Manager Hassan Al Naimi expressed confidence that the 44,667-capacity venue will successfully host the match, with preparations in place to ensure smooth entry and exit for fans. Stadium Traffic Commander Nasser Al Naimi also assured that traffic congestion will be avoided with multiple routes available to reach the venue.

The QFA has named Salman Falahi as the referee for the title clash, with other officials also announced for the match. Al Sadd and Qatar SC will hold their final training sessions ahead of the match, with Al Sadd training from 6:45 pm to 7:45 pm and Qatar SC training from 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the venue tomorrow. Head of Transportation Operations Ghanem Al Kuwari advised fans to arrive early and consider using the Doha Metro for convenience on match day.
