The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) in Doha, Qatar has announced that several clinics and services from Al Wakra Health Center will be relocated to other health centers in the central region as part of the center’s regular maintenance work. This temporary reassignment is necessary to ensure that patients registered in the health center continue to receive care during the maintenance and development phases. The relocation will take place in three phases, with services such as dental, health card registration, optometry, ophthalmology, well-baby, pharmacy, radiology, and panorama services being temporarily moved to different health centers.

In the first phase, scheduled between July 18 and 28, dental services and health card registration services will be available at Al Mashaf and Airport health centers. The second phase, from July 28 to August 6, will see optometry and ophthalmology services relocated to Al Mashaf and Airport health centers. During the third phase, from August 6 to 15, well-baby services will be transferred to Al Mashaf Health Center, with additional services such as pharmacy, radiology, and panorama services available at various health centers in the central region. Ultrasound services will be provided at South Al Wakra Health Center, while early detection services for breast and bowel cancer will be offered at Rawdat Al Khail Health Center.

PHCC remains dedicated to delivering the highest quality healthcare services, and routine maintenance work is essential in its efforts to develop and modernize all its health centers. The temporary relocation of services is part of the organization’s commitment to ensuring that patients continue to receive the care they need during the maintenance and development phases of the Al Wakra Health Center. By temporarily moving services to other health centers in the central region, PHCC is ensuring that patients have access to essential healthcare services without any disruption.

Patients who are registered at Al Wakra Health Center are advised to take note of the relocation schedule and make necessary arrangements to access the services at the designated health centers during the temporary reassignment period. The PHCC is working diligently to provide clear communication and support to patients during the transition period to minimize any inconvenience. The organization is committed to maintaining high standards of care and ensuring that the healthcare needs of patients are met effectively during this maintenance phase.

The relocation of services from Al Wakra Health Center to other health centers in the central region highlights the PHCC’s proactive approach to maintaining and improving healthcare services for the community. By implementing these temporary reassignments, the organization is able to carry out necessary maintenance work while ensuring that patients continue to receive the care they require. The commitment to delivering quality healthcare services remains a top priority for the PHCC, and the temporary relocation of services is a testament to the organization’s dedication to providing continuous and uninterrupted care to patients during maintenance phases.
