Australian cricket star David Warner to participate in T10 cricket tournament in Zimbabwe

The upcoming season of T10 cricket promises to be bigger and better, starting with Season 2 of Zim Afro T10 in Harare. The tournament will feature franchises from various countries, with six franchises in Zim Afro signing top players like David Warner, Carlos Brathwaite, and more. The tournament will include 6 local Zimbabwe players, along with a global icon player in each squad.

Following Zim Afro T10, the season will continue with Season 2 of the US Masters League, Abu Dhabi T10, and the inaugural Lanka T10 in December. Sri Lanka will become the second ICC Full Member nation to embrace the T10 format, establishing itself as a key event on the Sri Lankan cricket calendar. The tournament will showcase fast-paced and thrilling matches, attracting cricket fans from around the world.

The roster of coaches for the T10 season includes renowned cricket stalwarts such as Moin Khan, Chaminda Vaas, and Owais Shah. Moin Khan, the former Pakistan captain, will lead the Durban Wolves, bringing his wealth of experience as both a player and coach to the team. Chaminda Vaas, the dynamic Sri Lankan all-rounder, will coach the NYS Lagos side, adding his expertise to the team’s strategy and performance.

Each franchise has also made strategic coaching appointments, with Owais Shah coaching the Bulawayo Braves Jaguars, James Foster leading the Cape Town Samp Army, and Julian Wood guiding the Jo’Burg Bangla Tigers. These coaches bring a wealth of experience from coaching in various leagues around the world, helping their teams prepare for the upcoming T10 season.

In addition to top players and coaches, the T10 season will feature exciting match-ups and contests that will keep fans on the edge of their seats. With the inclusion of new formats like the Lanka T10, the season promises to deliver fast-paced action and entertaining cricket matches. The T10 format continues to grow in popularity, attracting top talent from around the world to participate in these thrilling competitions.

Overall, the T10 season brings together a mix of talent, experience, and excitement to provide fans with an unforgettable cricketing experience. With top players like David Warner and Carlos Brathwaite, as well as experienced coaches like Moin Khan and Chaminda Vaas, the T10 season is set to be a blockbuster event that will captivate audiences worldwide.
