Playing in the HSBC India Legends tournament, Jeev Milkha Singh, the tournament host, exceeded his own expectations by securing second place with an impressive score of eight under par after the second round. He expressed his delight at his performance, especially with his improved putting skills during the round. Singh attributed his success to the challenging Jaypee Greens golf course and the favorable weather conditions that allowed players to utilize golf carts during the game.

The leaderboard was dominated by Joakim Haeggman, who maintained his lead after the first round with a total score of seven under par, followed by Singh in second place and Jyoti Randhawa in third. Singh’s exceptional performance stood out among the players, with only eight participants breaking par in the second round. Moreover, Singh highlighted the remarkable hole-in-one achieved by French golfer Marc Farry during the competition.

Looking ahead to the final round, Singh expressed his relaxed mindset and emphasized the importance of staying focused on the game without getting ahead of himself. Despite his impressive track record as a professional golfer, Singh acknowledged the challenges of winning a tournament and remained optimistic about the outcome. He also mentioned the commendable performance of his son, Harjai Milkha Singh, in the Legends Experience Division.

As Singh prepares for the final round, he shared his gratitude for the support received from his fans and the golfing community. With only two shots dropped in 36 holes, Singh acknowledged that he must be doing something right and expressed confidence in his performance. Additionally, he mentioned his caddie, Rajan Kumar, who hails from his home club in Chandigarh, and the upcoming tournament fashion show that he will participate in.

Throughout his career, Jeev Milkha Singh has established himself as a prominent figure in Indian golf, with accolades such as the Dubai Golden Visa Award and multiple professional wins worldwide. As he continues to compete in prestigious tournaments like the HSBC India Legends, Singh’s dedication and passion for golf remain unwavering. With the final round approaching, fans eagerly anticipate Singh’s performance and the outcome of the competition.
