Funding agreement signed to establish Blood Bank Hub in Seeb

The Ministry of Health in Muscat recently signed an agreement with Sohar Islamic Bank and Mohammed Al Barwani Foundation to fund the establishment of the interior set-up of the Blood Bank Center at Al Araimi Boulevard in Seeb. This agreement, signed by Dr. Badriya Mohsen Al-Rashdi, Abdulwahid Mohammed Al-Murshidi, and Iman Mohammed Al-Barwani, aims to enhance the quality of health services provided by the Blood Bank Services Department in Bousher, making it more accessible to residents of Seeb and neighboring areas.

The project will be located within Al Araimi Boulevard mall and will encompass an area of 91 square meters. The center will include sections for registering donors, conducting pre-donation medical tests, and check-ups, as well as six beds for blood donation. This new location will increase the number of beneficiaries and streamline the process for blood donors in Seeb and surrounding communities, ultimately improving the overall quality of services provided by the Blood Bank Services Department.
