The Minister of Labour, His Excellency Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, recently attended an event hosted by Naseej BSC, which saw the company celebrating its achievement of 100% Bahrainisation across all roles. The event was also graced by the presence of His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Labour, and Naseej’s Chief Executive, Mr Amin Al Arrayed, among other ministry officials and members of the company’s board. Humaidan commended Naseej for its efforts in incorporating Bahraini workers into its workforce, highlighting the crucial role of the private sector in providing employment opportunities for local youths. He emphasized the importance of equipping Bahrainis with the necessary skills and support to enter various sectors of the job market.

The Minister underscored that achieving full Bahrainisation within a company reflects the private sector’s commitment to the long-term growth of Bahrain and ensures that Bahrainis are given precedence in the job market. He urged businesses to adopt effective recruitment practices to attract more local talent, especially considering the government’s initiatives and programs designed to prioritize Bahraini nationals in the workplace. Humaidan also emphasized the significance of making wise investments in Bahraini employees, expressing confidence in their capability to contribute to organizational growth and success. Naseej’s CEO, Mr Amin Ahmed Al Arrayed, reiterated the company’s dedication to enhancing the skills of Bahraini workers, aligning with Bahrain’s national strategies to prioritize locals for employment opportunities. Al Arrayed acknowledged the valuable efforts of the Ministry of Labour and Tamkeen in providing targeted training programs to empower Bahraini youth and help them excel in the competitive job market.

The event highlighted the importance of collaboration between the government, private sector, and training institutions to build a skilled and competitive workforce. By focusing on Bahrainisation, companies can not only contribute to the country’s economic development but also support the career advancement of local talents. The commitment shown by Naseej in achieving full Bahrainisation sets a positive example for other businesses to follow suit and prioritize hiring Bahraini nationals. By investing in the development and growth of Bahraini workers, organizations can foster a more inclusive and prosperous work environment that benefits both employees and the overall economy. This event serves as a testament to the fruitful partnership between the public and private sectors in promoting national workforce development and ensuring the employment success of Bahraini citizens.
