The weather department has forecast fair to partly cloudy conditions in the UAE with low clouds expected over the eastern coast in the morning. Humidity is also expected to increase during the night and Thursday morning, especially in the western areas, with a possibility of fog or mist formation. Temperatures in the UAE have been soaring, with a new high of 50.8℃ recorded on July 9. Stay updated with the latest news by following KT on WhatsApp Channels.

Today, temperatures are expected to reach up to 49℃ and drop to around 26℃ in the internal regions. Humidity levels may range from 10 per cent in the internal areas to 90 per cent in the islands and coastal areas. Winds are predicted to be light to moderate, occasionally freshening. The sea is expected to be slight in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea, according to the National Centre of Meteorology.

As the UAE experiences hot weather conditions, it is important for residents and visitors to take precautions to stay safe and healthy. This includes staying hydrated, wearing sunscreen, and avoiding outdoor activities during the peak heat hours. It is also advisable to check the weather forecast regularly and follow any guidelines or recommendations from authorities.

With the rising temperatures and high humidity levels, it is essential to be mindful of the potential risks associated with extreme heat, such as heat exhaustion and heat stroke. It is crucial to recognize the symptoms of these conditions and seek medical attention if necessary. Additionally, staying indoors in air-conditioned spaces can help prevent heat-related illnesses.

For those planning outdoor activities, it is advisable to take frequent breaks, wear loose and light-colored clothing, and protect oneself from direct sunlight. Keeping a close eye on vulnerable groups such as children, the elderly, and pets is also important during hot weather conditions. By taking these precautions, individuals can enjoy the summer while staying safe and healthy.

In conclusion, the UAE is experiencing soaring temperatures and high humidity levels, prompting the need for residents and visitors to take necessary precautions. By staying informed about the weather conditions, following safety guidelines, and being aware of the risks associated with extreme heat, individuals can protect themselves and others from potential heat-related illnesses. With proper care and attention, everyone can enjoy the summer season in the UAE safely and comfortably.
