Emaar Properties, a Dubai-based developer, recently announced that they have repaired 4,500 homes for free that were damaged in record rains in April. Additionally, the Dubai Government unveiled a Dh30 billion integrated project to enhance the rain drainage network in the emirate, improving the drainage system by 700% and covering all areas of Dubai. In the first half of 2024, Emaar Properties launched 30 projects and sold 8,400 units, marking a 56% increase in sales compared to the same period last year.
Some of Emaar’s projects, such as Address Residences Zabeel and Palace Residences Dubai Hills Estate, saw significant success, with each selling 2,500 units within just seven days. The company also awarded 50 construction contracts worth Dh8.7 billion in the first half of 2024.
