Ajman Police recently conducted a raid resulting in the arrest of an Asian national suspected of selling and storing duplicate lubricants bearing names of globally renowned brands registered in the emirate. The operation was initiated after a tip-off received at the Al Hamidiyah Police Station, indicating the presence of a warehouse in the new industrial zone engaged in the production, packaging, storage, and distribution of counterfeit oil products. A specialized investigative team was formed, and a raid was carried out leading to the seizure of large quantities of counterfeit oils. Further investigation revealed the suspect’s involvement in another case reported to the Comprehensive City Police Station within Ajman Emirate.

Additionally, the suspect’s residence was searched following the warehouse raid, where significant quantities of duplicate car oils were found and confiscated. During interrogation, the suspect admitted to packaging car oil and lubricants under his company’s label with the intention of selling the products under the name of reputable companies. Subsequently, authorities have launched a comprehensive investigation into the matter, and the suspect has confessed to his actions. As a result, he has been detained pending further legal proceedings.

The Directorate of Investigations and Criminal Investigations Department at Ajman Police commended the officers involved in apprehending the suspect and busting the counterfeit operation. They also issued a warning to the public to exercise caution when purchasing goods and to report any suspicious activities promptly. This case serves as a reminder of the importance of consumer awareness and vigilance when buying products, especially those that could impact the safety and performance of vehicles.

Counterfeiting is a serious offense that not only violates intellectual property rights but also poses significant risks to consumers. Fake oils and lubricants can damage vehicles, cause engine malfunctions, and undermine road safety. By cracking down on counterfeit operations, law enforcement agencies like Ajman Police are working to protect consumers, uphold the integrity of brands, and maintain a level playing field for legitimate businesses.

The arrest of the suspect in Ajman highlights the ongoing efforts of authorities to combat counterfeiting and protect the interests of consumers and businesses. By disrupting illegal operations and holding those responsible accountable, law enforcement agencies play a crucial role in safeguarding public health and safety. It is essential for consumers to remain vigilant and report any suspected counterfeit products to the authorities to prevent further harm and ensure a fair marketplace.

In conclusion, the recent raid by Ajman Police resulting in the arrest of an individual involved in the production and distribution of counterfeit lubricants underscores the importance of cracking down on illegal activities that endanger public safety and violate intellectual property rights. By staying vigilant and reporting suspicious activities, consumers can contribute to the efforts of law enforcement agencies in ensuring the integrity of products and brands. Authorities play a critical role in investigating and prosecuting individuals engaged in counterfeiting, safeguarding the interests of consumers, businesses, and the community at large.
