Two teenage swimmers from Dubai qualify for 2024 Paris Olympics – News

Two Dubai school students, Karin Belbeisi and Christina Rach, have qualified for the upcoming Olympics in Paris after years of intense swim training. Belbeisi, a member of the elite swimming programme at GEMS Wellington Academy – Al Khail, will represent Jordan in the 400-metre freestyle event. She achieved lifetime bests in various events at the 19th Singapore Nationals, securing her spot in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. On the other hand, Rach, a sprint swimmer and sports scholar at GEMS Wellington International School, will compete in the 50-metre freestyle event for Eritrea. She also set a personal best in the 50m freestyle event during the World Aquatics Championships to qualify for the Paris Games.

Belbeisi expressed her excitement at representing Jordan at the Olympics, calling it a dream come true.
