The new Hijri year, 1446, was celebrated with great joy and warmth as His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received congratulations from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister extended his deepest felicitations to HM the King, expressing his wishes for good health, happiness, and prosperity for Bahrain, as well as for the Arab and Islamic nations. In return, HM the King sent a cable of thanks to HRH Prince Salman, extending warm wishes for his well-being and for the progress and prosperity of Bahrain and the Arab and Islamic nations.
