The fifth phase of the ‘Eidaad’ national programme has been launched

The Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, in collaboration with Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), has launched the 5th phase of the national training program for university students known as “Eidaad”. The event, which was held under the auspices of Dr. Rahma Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, also marked the introduction of an initiative to align specializations. This initiative aims to provide students and academics with a clear understanding of various job opportunities and career paths, enabling them to make informed decisions about their future.

As part of the event, a cooperation protocol between the academic and industrial sectors was signed by the Ministry and PDO. The protocol was signed by Dr. Rahma Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi and Dr. Aflah Said Al Hadhrami, CEO of PDO. This partnership between academia and industry is crucial in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical skills, ultimately better preparing students for the workforce.
