The 15th edition of Milipol Qatar, the global exhibition for internal security and safety, is set to begin at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre on October 29. The event, organised by the Ministry of Interior, will feature over 250 companies and 350 official delegations, welcoming ministers of interior from various nations, security leaders, experts, and specialists.

The theme for this year’s edition is “Technology in the Service of Security,” showcasing Qatar’s commitment to advancing technological capabilities to meet security challenges. The event will include seminars on cybersecurity, civil defence, and airport security, with presentations scheduled throughout the three days. The exhibition will feature over 250 international and national companies specialising in internal security and safety, along with six major international pavilions.

A two-day international conference on artificial intelligence (AI) titled, “Artificial Intelligence for Internal Security and Safety” will also be held during the event. Leading experts will discuss AI innovations and ethics, highlighting AI’s role in security work and the opportunities and challenges it presents. The conference aims to position Qatar as a pioneer in addressing AI from security and legal perspectives.

The Chairman of the Milipol Qatar Committee, Major General Nasser bin Fahd Al Thani, emphasized the importance of the event in providing opportunities for direct interaction with high-level delegations and security leaders, facilitating contracts and agreements with companies. The exhibition will showcase the latest technologies and products, with some exhibitors launching new systems and solutions for internal security and safety.

Director of the Milipol International Network, Anne Fresinet, highlighted the platform provided by Milipol Qatar for governments, sector leaders, and security experts to address global security challenges. The event aims to enhance cooperation and showcase solutions that directly address these complex issues.

Sponsorship agreements have been signed with several companies, including Barzan Holdings, Qatar National Bank, Al Abdulghani Motors, Stark Motors, Saleh Al Hamad Al Mana, Teyseer Group, Ooredoo, Al Emadi Enterprises, Eshaar Holding, Qatar Factory, Al Mana Company, Multi Services Company, Audi Qatar, and Sports City Advertising. These partnerships will support the successful organization of the exhibition and contribute to addressing internal security and safety challenges.
