The Northern Governorate Municipality in Bahrain has recently announced a tender for a significant upgrade to Al Malkiya Coast. This project, as published on the Bahrain Tender Board’s official website, includes the construction of a new café, public restrooms, and a service building. Additionally, the existing walkway and other structures along the coast will undergo improvements, encompassing all associated works. The contract for this project is set at a duration of 10 months, with the project site located at Al Malkiya Beach.

The decision to enhance the Al Malkiya Coast area follows numerous requests from the Northern Municipal Council. These requests were primarily aimed at improving the public experience at the coastal area. Some of the key aspects included in the requests were expanding the children’s play area, upgrading and maintaining playground equipment, installing security cameras for enhanced safety and monitoring, improving lighting with a focus on sustainable solar energy solutions, and creating investment opportunities for local citizens to further develop the area and expand green spaces.

The upgrade to Al Malkiya Coast is a significant step towards enhancing the overall experience for visitors and residents in the region. With the construction of a new café, public restrooms, and a service building, visitors will have access to better facilities and amenities during their time at the beach. Additionally, the improvements to the existing walkway and structures will not only enhance the aesthetics of the area but also ensure safety and accessibility for all visitors.

The contract duration for this project is set at 10 months, indicating that the Municipality is committed to completing the upgrades in a timely manner. By focusing on enhancing various aspects of the coastal area, such as the children’s play area, playground equipment, security measures, lighting, and green spaces, the Municipality is taking a holistic approach to improving the overall experience for visitors. This project will not only benefit the local community but also create investment opportunities for citizens to further develop the area.

In conclusion, the tender announcement for the upgrade to Al Malkiya Coast highlights the Municipality’s commitment to enhancing public spaces and amenities in the Northern Governorate of Bahrain. With a focus on improving the visitor experience, safety, and sustainability of the coastal area, the project will have a positive impact on both residents and tourists. By creating investment opportunities for local citizens and expanding green spaces, the Municipality is paving the way for further development and growth in the region. This project serves as a testament to the government’s dedication to enhancing public infrastructure and amenities for the benefit of all.
