The temporary partial closure on Faleh bin Nasser Intersection in Salwa Road in Doha, Qatar was announced by the Public Works Authority (Ashghal). The closure, scheduled to start on Monday, July 8, 2024, will last for a period of one month. Despite the closure, one lane will remain open in all directions of the intersection, ensuring traffic flow is maintained as smoothly as possible during this time.

Furthermore, it has been confirmed that traffic will continue to be operational on Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor without any closure. This decision was made in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic to minimize disruptions and inconvenience to commuters in the area. It is essential to note that alternate routes and diversions may be put in place to assist drivers in navigating around the closed intersection, ensuring minimal impact on their daily routines.

The closure of the Faleh bin Nasser Intersection aims to facilitate necessary maintenance and improvement works in the area. Ashghal is committed to enhancing infrastructure and road networks to support the growing population of Qatar and to ensure the safety and convenience of all road users. The temporary closure allows for essential works to be carried out efficiently and effectively, with minimal disruption to traffic flow and neighboring communities.

As part of their ongoing efforts to enhance the road network in Qatar, Ashghal continually conducts maintenance, repair, and improvement works across the country. These projects are crucial to ensuring that infrastructure is kept in optimal condition and meets the evolving needs of residents and businesses. The temporary closure of the Faleh bin Nasser Intersection is just one example of Ashghal’s proactive approach to addressing infrastructure challenges and maintaining high standards of road safety.

During the temporary closure, drivers are advised to follow posted signs, road markings, and instructions from traffic authorities to navigate the affected area safely. It is essential for motorists to exercise caution and patience while commuting through the area, as traffic may be congested due to the closure. By following designated diversions and alternate routes, drivers can help minimize delays and ensure the smooth flow of traffic during the maintenance period.

In conclusion, the temporary partial closure of Faleh bin Nasser Intersection in Salwa Road in Doha, Qatar is a necessary measure to facilitate essential maintenance and improvement works. Ashghal’s proactive approach to infrastructure development and maintenance ensures that Qatar’s road network continues to meet the needs of its residents and businesses. By coordinating with the General Directorate of Traffic and implementing measures to minimize disruptions, Ashghal aims to complete the works efficiently and ensure the safety and convenience of all road users during the closure period.
