State Council opens 2nd regular session of the 8th term by order of His Majesty the King.

The State Council in Muscat, Oman has begun its second regular sitting of the Eighth Term (2023-2027) following the Royal orders of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik. The opening session was presided over by Sheikh Abdulmalik Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council. During this session, the council discussed various proposals and studies put forth by the permanent committees for deliberation in the Eighth Term. Additionally, they reviewed a study on setting standards for regulating e-commerce and arts in order to support the national economy and ensure efficient spending within the Sultanate of Oman.
