The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) is gearing up for the third edition of the ‘Celebrate Bahrain Season’ with a strategic outdoor campaign across the GCC markets. Six advertising agencies are currently in the running to secure the contract for managing this campaign, with bids ranging from BD291,929.000 to BD994,205.344. The chosen agency will be responsible for implementing an offline advertising campaign to increase awareness and attract visitors to Bahrain during the peak holiday season.

The ‘Celebrate Bahrain Season’ campaign was first introduced in 2022 and coincides with Bahrain’s National Day celebrations in December. The goal of the campaign is to showcase the various activities and events that are available to both locals and tourists throughout the festive month. In 2023, the Bahrain Festive Season included musical and cultural events such as concerts at the Al Dana Amphitheatre for National Day and New Year’s Eve, as well as performances by the Bahrain Philharmonic Orchestra organized by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) at the National Theatre.

The events held during the 2023 Bahrain Festive Season attracted a large number of attendees to popular locations such as Water Garden City, Marassi Bahrain, Bahrain Bay, Bahrain Financial Harbour, Bahrain Fort, Bahrain National Museum, and Najma Club. These events not only provided entertainment for the attendees but also contributed to the promotion of Bahrain as a tourist destination. The comprehensive offline advertising campaign managed by the chosen agency will play a crucial role in reaching a wider audience and encouraging more visitors to experience the vibrant cultural scene in Bahrain.

The Tender Board has received bids from six advertising agencies, each vying for the opportunity to manage the outdoor campaign for the ‘Celebrate Bahrain Season.’ The agency selected for the contract will be tasked with creating a compelling advertising strategy to showcase the unique attractions and events that Bahrain has to offer during the festive month. By utilizing various offline advertising channels, the agency aims to raise awareness about the campaign and attract a diverse group of visitors to the country.

The ‘Celebrate Bahrain Season’ campaign is an annual initiative introduced by the BTEA to highlight the rich cultural heritage and entertainment options available in Bahrain. Through a series of events, concerts, and performances, the campaign seeks to create a festive atmosphere and promote Bahrain as a must-visit destination during the holiday season. The chosen advertising agency will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of the campaign by effectively communicating its message to the target audience across the GCC markets.

In conclusion, the upcoming third edition of the ‘Celebrate Bahrain Season’ promises to be a vibrant and exciting celebration of the kingdom’s culture and heritage. With six advertising agencies competing for the opportunity to manage the outdoor campaign for the event, it is clear that there is a significant level of interest in promoting Bahrain as a top tourist destination. Through a comprehensive offline advertising strategy, the chosen agency will have the chance to showcase all that Bahrain has to offer and attract visitors from across the region to experience the unique attractions and events during the festive month.
