Sheikh Mohammed surprises top-performing students in UAE with cash prize and heartfelt message

High school toppers in the UAE received a special gift from the Vice President of the country, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The top students were congratulated for their achievements and received cash prizes along with an inspirational message. One of the students, Alia Hassan, expressed her surprise and delight at being recognized as a topper and mentioned her plans to use the cash prize to buy a car. Another student, Maryam Al Zaabi, felt a deep sense of responsibility after receiving the gift with the message ‘We bet on you’. The students were also congratulated by the Dubai Ruler through a certificate, acknowledging their excellence and achievements.

The students were touched by the gesture of recognition and expressed gratitude for the gifts they received. Maryam mentioned that the wise leadership had assured them not to worry, and now it was their turn to reassure the leadership. Mayed Al Hamoudi from Al Fujairah Institute of Applied Technology shared that he had planned and worked hard for his success, and the gift would aid his academic education in the medical field. Waleed Al Asadi from International School Abu Dhabi planned to invest the money in studying human medicine, as it had been his goal for many years.

Abdullah Mohammed, another student, was among the top students throughout his school and aspired to study medicine, specializing in cardiac surgery. His mother revealed that Abdullah had always excelled academically, following in the footsteps of his elder brother. Students expressed their plans for the future, with Alyazia Al Shamsi aiming to study engineering after winning the Emirates skills competition. She has high aspirations of representing her country in the WorldSkills competition and showcasing her skills on a global platform.

The students’ achievements were recognized by the country’s leadership, reflecting the importance placed on education and excellence in the UAE. The gesture of sending personalized gifts and messages to the top students encourages them to continue on their path of success and serves as a motivation for their future endeavors. The students expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the recognition they received, highlighting the impact it had on them and their aspirations for the future.
