Three municipalities in the eastern province of Sharjah have recently adopted new logos, namely Kalba, Khorfakkan, and Dibba Al Hisn. The approval for these logos came from Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, the Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah. This announcement was made during the “Direct Line” program, which was broadcast on radio and television. The new logos are expected to represent the unique identity and culture of each municipality.

In addition to the adoption of new logos, Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi also called for the provision of plots of land for establishing parks within all neighborhoods of the central region of the emirate. This initiative is being carried out by the Department of Planning and Survey with the aim of enhancing the quality of life for residents in Sharjah. The establishment of parks in residential areas can provide recreational spaces for families and promote a sense of community.

Furthermore, a name change for the Qalaa Mosque in Kalba has been directed, with the mosque now being named as Khor Kalba Mosque. This change is part of the efforts to align with the cultural and historical significance of the area. The renaming of the mosque reflects the rich heritage of Kalba and its importance within the community. It is expected to preserve the memory and traditions associated with the mosque for future generations.

The adoption of new logos and the provision of parkland in Sharjah’s central region are part of the ongoing efforts to enhance the infrastructure and amenities within the emirate. These initiatives aim to create a vibrant and sustainable environment for residents and visitors alike. By investing in the development of public spaces and preserving cultural landmarks, Sharjah is actively working towards creating a more livable and inclusive community for all.

As part of the changes in the eastern province, the new logos for Kalba, Khorfakkan, and Dibba Al Hisn are expected to strengthen the identity of each municipality and promote a sense of pride among residents. The logos reflect the unique characteristics and cultural heritage of each area, highlighting the significance of local traditions and values. These visual representations will serve as symbols of unity and belonging for the communities they represent.

Overall, the recent announcements made by Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi underscore the commitment of the Sharjah government to the well-being and prosperity of its residents. By focusing on urban development, cultural preservation, and community engagement, Sharjah continues to lead the way in creating a sustainable and inclusive environment for all. The adoption of new logos, the provision of parkland, and the renaming of cultural landmarks are just a few examples of the ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of life in Sharjah and create a brighter future for generations to come.
