Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs recently bid farewell to Haiti’s ambassador, Jean-Marie Francois Junior Guillaume, as he concluded his diplomatic mission to the State of Qatar. The meeting, held yesterday, underscored the ongoing efforts to foster bilateral relations between the two nations. Secretary-General of the Ministry, Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi, expressed gratitude for the ambassador’s contributions during his tenure.

The departure of Ambassador Guillaume marks the end of a chapter in Qatar-Haiti diplomatic ties, which have seen increased engagement in recent years.
