Season 2 of ‘The Apprentice: One Championship Edition’ to be showcased at Ajyal Film Festival

One Championship has announced the premiere of the second season of its reality series, “The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition,” in Qatar and across the MENA region on TOD, beIN Media Group’s OTT platform. The show will debut on Wednesday, November 20, following a special screening at the Doha Film Institute’s Ajyal Film Festival. The event will feature an exclusive red-carpet screening of an episode filmed in Qatar, followed by a live panel discussion with ONE Championship Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong, moderated by Khalifa Al Haroon, also known as “Mr. Q.”

Sityodtong expressed his excitement for the official launch of Season 2 in Qatar, following the success of the first season which landed in the Netflix Top 10 in multiple countries. He thanked the Doha Film Institute and Media City Qatar for their support and collaboration in bringing this new season to the fans in Qatar. Eng. Jassim Mohamed Al Khori, CEO of Media City Qatar, also highlighted the partnership with One as an opportunity to showcase Qatar’s media industry on a global scale, while promoting high-stakes business challenges that test resilience, strategy, and innovation.

The new season of “The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition” was directed by Singapore’s Refinery Media and co-produced by Media City Qatar. Filming took place at iconic locations in Qatar, including Katara Hospitality’s Raffles Hotel, Souq Waqif, and Zekreet. The show was also supported by the Singapore Tourism Board, as well as sponsors such as Ooredoo, Qatar Airways, Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, TUMI, and Katara Hospitality. Similar to Season 1, the new season features 10 candidates from around the world competing in business and physical challenges for a one-year, quarter-million-dollar job offer at ONE’s headquarters in Singapore.

The show will also feature special guest CEO appearances throughout the season, including Ooredoo Group CEO Aziz Aluthman Fakhroo, Doha Film Institute CEO Fatma Hassan Al Remaihi, Everstone Capital CEO Sameer Sain, V3 Group CEO Ron Sim, and more. Additionally, superstar athletes Stamp Fairtex, Kade Ruotolo, Roberto Soldic, John Wayne Parr, and others will make appearances in the new season. Viewers can expect a thrilling competition filled with high-stakes challenges, celebrity appearances, and a chance to witness the next generation of business leaders vying for a life-changing opportunity.

Overall, the collaboration between One Championship and Media City Qatar promises to deliver a unique and engaging viewing experience for fans in Qatar and beyond. The new season of “The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition” is set to captivate audiences with its blend of business acumen, physical challenges, and celebrity guest appearances.
