Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister of Oman, recently received a written message from Dimitar Glavchev, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria, regarding bilateral relations. This meeting took place during a visit from Nevyana Miteva and Maria Anguelieva, Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria. The discussions focused on areas of mutual cooperation, particularly in the fields of economy, culture, energy, renewable energy, maritime transport, and technology. Both sides also exchanged views on regional and international issues, with a special emphasis on the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip caused by Israeli aggression.

The two sides highlighted the importance of achieving justice for the Palestinian people, providing them with necessary relief and humanitarian aid, and working towards the establishment of an independent Palestinian state in accordance with international law and the two-state solution. The meeting was also attended by Humaid Ali Al Maani, Head of the Global Affairs Department at the Omani Foreign Ministry, and Rumen Petrov, the Director of the Middle East and Africa Directorate of the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The discussions between Oman and Bulgaria underscore the commitment of both countries to enhancing their bilateral relations and cooperation in various fields. The focus on economy, culture, energy, renewable energy, maritime transport, and technology highlights the potential for further collaboration and partnership between the two nations. The two sides expressed their solidarity with the Palestinian people and stressed the importance of providing them with the necessary support and assistance. The discussions reaffirmed the commitment of both countries to upholding international law and working towards a just and lasting solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

The presence of top officials from both countries at the meeting demonstrates the significance that Oman and Bulgaria place on their bilateral relations. The involvement of the Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs from Bulgaria, as well as key officials from the Omani Foreign Ministry, highlights the seriousness with which both countries approach their diplomatic engagements.
