The Saudi Council of Ministers recently called on the international community to hold Israeli officials responsible for their ongoing violations of international laws and resolutions. The Cabinet, chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, expressed its rejection of extremist Israeli statements and urged action to end the humanitarian crisis faced by the Palestinian people. Additionally, the Kingdom pledged to continue working with international partners to restore security and stability in Sudan. The Cabinet also discussed domestic economic developments, including a significant increase in non-oil exports, and praised the success of the Esports World Cup.

During the session, the Cabinet reviewed various international relations matters, including a message from President of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro and discussions with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas regarding efforts to halt escalation in the Gaza Strip. The Council approved several memorandums of understanding (MoUs) to enhance cooperation with countries such as Colombia, Estonia, Mauritius, Sri Lanka, and Turkmenistan. These MoUs cover areas such as political consultations, modern transportation, direct investment, financial investigations related to combating money laundering and terrorism financing, and cooperation in accounting and auditing.

The Cabinet’s call for accountability for Israeli officials reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to upholding international laws and norms. By urging action to end the humanitarian crisis in Palestine and working towards security and stability in Sudan, Saudi Arabia demonstrates its dedication to promoting peace and justice in the region. The Kingdom’s efforts to enhance economic and cultural cooperation with various countries through MoUs further highlight its commitment to fostering positive relationships on the global stage.

Through its approval of MoUs for cooperation in various sectors such as transportation, investment, and financial investigations, Saudi Arabia shows its willingness to collaborate with international partners on important issues. These agreements aim to strengthen ties with countries such as Colombia, Estonia, Mauritius, Sri Lanka, and Turkmenistan, promoting mutual understanding and shared prosperity. By authorizing negotiations for these MoUs, the Council of Ministers paves the way for enhanced diplomatic relations and increased cooperation in key areas of significance.

As the Kingdom continues to engage with international partners on important issues, it remains steadfast in its commitment to promoting peace, justice, and cooperation on the global stage. By approving MoUs for various forms of cooperation and issuing statements on pressing international matters, Saudi Arabia reaffirms its role as a responsible member of the international community. The Council of Ministers’ decisions reflect the Kingdom’s determination to address global challenges and work towards a more secure and prosperous future for all.
