Additionally, the public bus fleet in Qatar achieved 73% electrification in the first quarter of 2024 with a plan to reach 100% electrification by 2030.
Qatar Rail’s commitment to providing a high level of service to its customers was reflected in the overall customer satisfaction rate with Doha Metro services reaching 99.66%. The overall accident frequency rate was recorded at 0.01, demonstrating the company’s commitment to safety. The air transportation sector also saw significant achievements, with Qatar being elected chair of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)’s Air Transport Committee (ATC) in June 2024.
The number of visitors to Qatar reached a new high of 4 million by the end of October 2024, with a 26% increase in international visitors in the third quarter compared to the previous year.
