Qatari and US officials discuss collaboration in the labor industry

The Minister of Labour, H E Dr. Ali bin Smaikh Al Marri, and the United States Ambassador to Qatar, H E Timmy Davis, recently met to discuss cooperation in the labour sector between their two countries. The meeting focused on assessing the current level of collaboration and exploring opportunities for further partnership. Both parties highlighted the importance of working together to address shared interests and enhance mutual benefits in the labour sector.

One of the key topics of discussion was the potential for increased collaboration in areas such as training and skill development for workers in Qatar. The Minister and the Ambassador recognized the importance of investing in the human capital of their respective countries to ensure a skilled and productive workforce. They discussed possible initiatives to enhance training programs and promote lifelong learning opportunities for workers in Qatar.
