Qatar Medicare Exhibition to Begin on December 3

Doha is set to host the first Qatar’s International Healthcare and Medical Trade Exhibition and Conference, known as Qatar Medicare, from December 3 to 5, 2024. The event, organized in collaboration between Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry and IFP Qatar, will take place at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) under the patronage of the Ministry of Public Health. Director of the Department of NCDs Preventive Programs at the Ministry of Public Health, HE Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Hamad Al-Thani, highlighted the Ministry’s commitment to advancing the healthcare sector through this exhibition.

The Qatar Medicare exhibition serves as a platform for healthcare professionals to establish communication channels, identify opportunities, and strengthen collaborative efforts between key stakeholders. This event aims to showcase Qatar’s exemplary public health system and the numerous opportunities available for the private sector to contribute to the field. The Ministry of Public Health is dedicated to enhancing the healthcare ecosystem in the country, with a focus on continuously advancing healthcare initiatives to benefit the population.

HE Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Hamad Al-Thani emphasized the importance of strengthening partnerships between the public and private sectors in the healthcare industry. He noted that exhibitions and conferences like Qatar Medicare provide solutions and innovative ideas that can drive progress within the sector. Acting General Manager of Qatar Chamber, Ali Bu Sharbak Al Mansouri, expressed confidence in Qatar’s healthcare sector’s growth potential, attracting investments and fostering international partnerships. The event aims to enhance collaboration between local and international businesses, solidifying Qatar’s position as a regional hub for healthcare innovation and excellence.

The Qatar Medicare exhibition will feature cutting-edge medical equipment and technology, along with B2B meetings to facilitate business collaborations and expand partnerships in the healthcare sector. General Manager of IFP Qatar, Haidar Mshaimesh, highlighted the event’s focus on building strategic partnerships and showcasing the latest healthcare technologies and innovations. Conference sessions will delve into current medical trends, groundbreaking healthcare innovations, and address challenges and opportunities within the sector.
