The Index 9.00 category witnessed Mohammed Khawari take the top spot, defeating Mohammed Al-Thuwaini in the final race. Mohammed Idris secured third place.

The Index 8.50 (Cars) class also crowned a new champion, Hamdan Al-Kaabi, followed by Adel Ghanem, who maintained his consistent performance with a second-place finish. Rakan Ali Al-Ajmi rounded out the podium. Shifting to the eighth-mile contests, Batti Al-Ali won in Index 4.80, besting Mohammed Al-Faraih, who was runner-up for the second consecutive round. Nasser Ghanem achieved his first podium of the year with a third-place finish in this category.

New Faces and Repeat Winners

The Super Street category saw a particularly noteworthy debut, as Mohammed Ali Haji claimed the championship title in his first appearance, defeating previous rounds’ winner Rashid Al-Bloushi. Khalid Al-Kandari secured his initial podium of the season, finishing third. However, the Index 4.50 class saw a familiar face on the top step, with Ibrahim Abbas Ibrahim claiming his second title of the championship after another win over Rashid Al-Bloushi.

Motorcycle and Street Bike Action

The Index 8.50 (Motorcycles) category, boasting the largest field of competitors with 36 entrants, produced a fresh lineup of winners. Hussain Ashkanani took the win, followed by Khalifa Al-Shrooqi and Youssef Al-Duraish. In the Street Bike class, Ahmed Karam secured his second championship title of the season, defeating Mohammed Al-Salem, who repeated his second-place finish from the previous round. The results of this round demonstrate the increasing depth of talent within the drag racing community in Qatar and the surrounding region. Competitors are continuing to refine their skills, and the level of competition is steadily rising, which is further fueled by the pursuit of motorsport excellence. This event underscores the QRC’s commitment to providing a platform for both established and emerging racing enthusiasts.

Following the conclusion of this exciting round, the QRC series is now scheduled to pause for a two-month break. The championship is expected to resume at the end of February 2026 with the final two rounds of competition. Stakeholders will be monitoring competitor standings and any potential rule adjustments announced before the resumption of competitive racing.
