The State of Qatar, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has reiterated its commitment to the right to education as a fundamental human right. During the 56th session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva, Third Legal Researcher Nooh Mohammed Nooh Al Mutawa emphasized the importance of providing equal access to education for all individuals. Qatar views education as a key element in its development framework, Qatar National Vision 2030, which aims to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills needed for societal progress.

Qatar has demonstrated its dedication to enhancing educational opportunities by investing in educational and research facilities, promoting scientific research, and fostering innovation and development. The country has also established partnerships between the government, private sector, and academic institutions to further support the right to education. Al Mutawa highlighted the Qatar Research, Development and Innovation Strategy 2030, which aims to solidify Qatar’s position as a leader in education through scientific research.
