The Paris Saint-Germain endowment fund recently launched its flagship program ‘One Team – Onze de Légende’ in Doha, in collaboration with Qatar Foundation and Generation Amazing Foundation. This initiative aims to bring together autistic and neurotypical children through football, promoting inclusion and unity on the pitch. The launch event took place at Qatar Foundation’s Education City, where around 20 children selected from the PSG Academy and Qatar Foundation participated in a training session guided by coaches and educators trained in the unique method developed by PSG for Communities. PSG coach Luis Enrique and PSG Legend Claude Makélélé also joined the session, providing a memorable experience of sharing and joy for the young participants.

Fabien Allègre, Vice-President of PSG Endowment Fund, highlighted the importance of fostering inclusion globally through the ‘One Team – Onze de Légende’ program. With the support of Generation Amazing Foundation and Qatar Foundation, PSG aims to train more coaches in their methodology to enrich their pedagogy and expand the program worldwide. Abdullah Al Kaabi, Head of Sports Affairs at Qatar Foundation’s Pre-University Education, emphasized the significance of promoting inclusion through sports, aligning with the mission of the Ability Friendly Program to support PSG for Communities and Paris Saint-Germain Academy in providing opportunities for people with disabilities.

Nasser Al Khori, Executive Director of Generation Amazing Foundation, expressed the commitment to empowering individuals of all abilities through the partnership, utilizing sports as a universal language to inspire inclusion, resilience, and opportunity. PSG coach Luis Enrique shared his delight in participating in the launch event, recognizing the impact of bringing neuroatypical and neurotypical children together to share the values of soccer. The program aims to help children thrive through sport’s values such as mutual support, team spirit, and solidarity. Since its inception, ‘One Team – Onze de Légende’ has enabled many children to benefit from the program’s positive impact.

The three-day launch event in Doha featured theoretical and practical exchanges on the program, the role of facilitators, challenges of autism, and behavior management. Weekly training sessions are held in Clamart and Poissy, led by specialized educators from PSG for Communities. By 2025, the program is expected to expand to other regions in France and internationally. The collaboration between PSG, Generation Amazing Foundation, and Qatar Foundation signifies a united effort towards promoting inclusion, diversity, and the transformative power of sport in bringing people together. The successful launch of ‘One Team – Onze de Légende’ in Doha reflects the commitment to creating a more inclusive and supportive community through football.
