Preparations underway for the sixth edition of the ‘Fikra’ competition

The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has announced the start of submissions for the sixth edition of the Government Innovation Competition, ‘Fikra’. This initiative, directed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, aims to foster innovation and excellence within the government sector by providing opportunities for employees and enterprises to present proposals that align with the Kingdom’s development goals. The competition seeks to encourage creativity among the national workforce in implementing ideas to further the nation’s progress.

The sixth edition of ‘Fikra’ aims to build on the success of previous winning ideas that have enhanced government workstreams and fostered a culture of creativity and innovation. Public sector employees and government enterprises are invited to submit their ideas individually or in groups of up to four members through the PMO website, focusing on ways to improve government services and enhance their efficiency and performance. All submissions will undergo a preliminary review by the evaluation committee to ensure they meet the necessary criteria.

By participating in ‘Fikra’, individuals and groups have the opportunity to contribute to the development of government services and play a part in driving the nation’s progress forward.
