The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued a weather forecast for Muscat on Friday, June 28, 2024, predicting cumulonimbus cloud activity over parts of the Hajar mountain, which may lead to scattered rainfall, thunderstorms, and strong winds. The forecast also includes chances of advection clouds and intermittent drizzle during late night and early morning of Saturday, June 29, 2024 over parts of Dhofar governorate coast. The presence of cumulonimbus clouds over the Hajar mountain and the possibility of scattered rainfall, thunderstorms, and strong winds necessitate caution for those venturing into the area. Similarly, the forecasted advection clouds and intermittent drizzle over parts of Dhofar governorate coast indicate the need for vigilance and preparedness for potential rain and associated weather events.

The formation of convective clouds over parts of Al Hajar mountains and the likelihood of isolated rain with thundershowers and downdraft winds underline the importance of being aware of local weather conditions and taking necessary precautions.
