The increased visitor numbers were also seen in the tram ridership, with 5,168 passengers during the celebration period, a 24 percent rise from the previous year.

The area will also host the Mal Awal exhibition and Orchestra in Barahat performances, as well as a series of Ramadan Iftar and Suhoor events.
