In a bid to enhance transport services in Oman, Otaxi has entered into a partnership agreement with ITCHA Group and Yango Group, in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology. The goal of this agreement is to upgrade the digital infrastructure and provide sustainable taxi services in the region. Through this collaboration, ITCHA Group and Yango Group will be making significant investments to develop Otaxi’s business ecosystem, which will open up new opportunities for growth in the local taxi business.

One of the key features of this partnership agreement is the introduction of parcel delivery services alongside passenger transport. Users will now have access to express delivery services through the Otaxi app, which will help speed up the delivery of orders from stores and restaurants, as well as the dispatch of gifts and personal parcels. This will not only provide convenience for users but also streamline delivery operations across various corporate categories, including small and medium enterprises (SME).

Furthermore, Yango Group has announced plans to launch the Yango Super App in the Sultanate of Oman in the near future phase. This application will provide residents and tourists arriving in Oman with easy access to Otaxi trips and delivery services. This will not only improve the overall customer experience but also help boost the local economy by facilitating seamless transportation and delivery services for both residents and tourists.
