The World Summit AI Middle East and North Africa edition, set to take place in Doha on Dec. 10-11, is expected to attract over 2,000 participants under the theme “Putting Humanity at the Heart of AI.” Organized by InspiredMinds in collaboration with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, this event will be the first global summit on artificial intelligence in the region. Taking place at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, the summit will bring together experts and decision-makers to discuss the latest advancements in AI and unveil the new National AI Strategy 2024.

Key topics at the summit will include human-AI interaction, AI-driven innovation, and responsible AI governance, with a focus on enhancing decision-making for the region’s digital future. Participants will have the opportunity to gain insights into the latest AI developments and contribute to shaping the future of AI in the Middle East and North Africa. The event will offer a platform for startups and digital companies to connect with global industry leaders in AI, forge partnerships, and play a role in shaping the future of AI in the region.

Over 100 expert speakers will cover 10 specialized tracks across four main stages, with a particular emphasis on Intelligent Health and the use of AI in saving lives. Since its inception in 2017, the World Summit AI has become known as the most influential gathering of AI experts and visionaries. The upcoming summit in Doha will provide a platform to discuss the future of AI, address challenges, and explore new opportunities, drawing global attention as the largest gathering of AI leaders worldwide.

The summit’s focus on the strategic vision of Qatar and its leadership in AI aligns with Qatar National Vision 2030, recognizing AI as a critical technological enabler across its economic, social, human, and environmental pillars. By enhancing education in AI and creating local solutions, Qatar aims to accelerate its transition to a knowledge-driven economy. AI has proven its ability to drive progress across various sectors, making it essential for achieving the goals set forth in Qatar National Vision 2030. The summit in Doha will serve as a platform for discussion, collaboration, and innovation in the field of artificial intelligence.
