The Ministry of Justice in Doha recently licensed 24 Qatari real estate brokers, both individuals and companies. These brokers took the legal oath before the Ministry of Justice’s Real Estate Brokers Affairs Committee. This permit was awarded after the applicants completed the necessary procedures under Law No. (22) of 2017, which regulates real estate brokerage work. Additionally, they also passed a mandatory training course.

Assistant Undersecretary for Real Estate Registration and Documentation Affairs, Saeed Abdullah Al Suwaidi, welcomed the new brokers. He emphasized the ministry’s commitment to advancing the real estate brokerage profession. This advancement is crucial as it has a direct impact on national development, aligning with the goals of the Qatar National Vision 2030. The vision aims to transform Qatar into an advanced society capable of sustainable development.

The real estate sector plays a significant role in the economic growth and development of Qatar. By licensing new brokers and ensuring they adhere to regulations, the Ministry of Justice is contributing to the overall improvement of the industry. The licensing process involves completing necessary procedures and undergoing training to ensure brokers are equipped with the knowledge and skills required to provide quality services to their clients.

The issuance of new licenses reflects the government’s commitment to promoting professionalism and excellence in the real estate brokerage sector. By taking the legal oath, brokers commit to upholding ethical standards and serving their clients with integrity. This move not only benefits the brokers themselves but also enhances the overall reputation of the industry.

The Qatar National Vision 2030 outlines strategic goals for the country’s future development, including economic diversification and sustainable growth. Real estate brokers play a crucial role in supporting these objectives by facilitating property transactions and contributing to the overall stability of the real estate market. The licensing of new brokers is a step towards achieving these goals and ensuring that the industry continues to thrive.

In conclusion, the licensing of 24 Qatari real estate brokers by the Ministry of Justice is a positive development for the industry. By investing in training and regulation, the government is not only promoting professionalism but also contributing to the advancement of the national development goals. The commitment to excellence and ethics in real estate brokerage will benefit both clients and brokers, ensuring a healthy and sustainable market for years to come.
