Minister commends joint efforts as Bahrain and UAE enhance security cooperation

His Excellency Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s Minister of Interior, recently met with a delegation from the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Interior, led by Colonel Dr. Ali Mubarak Al-Zaabi. The purpose of the meeting was to review Bahrain’s Alternative Penalties Project and Open Prisons Program. The Minister highlighted the significance of these projects as models for criminal justice systems in the region and emphasized the strong ties between Bahrain and the UAE, forged by the leadership of King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Minister Al Khalifa commended the current security cooperation and coordination between the two Gulf nations, expressing a joint commitment to exchanging successful experiences and expertise.
