Mara’ee 2024 Seventh Edition Set to Take the Stage

Under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Bahrain is set to host the seventh edition of the Bahrain Animal Production Show, also known as Mara’ee 2024. This event highlights the Kingdom’s dedication to preserving livestock and ensuring food security, in line with the government’s plans and programs. Led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the government aims to promote sustainable investment in the crucial sector of animal production.

Scheduled to take place from November 27 to December 1 at the Bahrain International Endurance Village, Mara’ee 2024 has been extended to five days this year due to the overwhelming interest seen in past editions. The Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, His Excellency Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, announced the event’s dates and location. He stressed the significance of Mara’ee in boosting the animal production sector’s contributions to Bahrain’s food security. The exhibition will serve as a platform for exchanging experiences, enhancing preventive primary care, supporting farmers, and implementing the best practices and technologies in the sector.

Bahrain’s commitment to developing the animal production sector is evident through its dedication to building capabilities in line with the National Strategy for Sustainable Agricultural Development. The expansion of the exhibition to five days is a testament to the growing interest and support for the sector. The government’s initiatives, under the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, aim to strengthen the sector’s role in ensuring long-term food security for the Kingdom.

Mara’ee 2024 will showcase the latest advancements and technologies in animal production, providing a platform for farmers, industry professionals, and stakeholders to exchange ideas and expertise. The event will focus on promoting sustainable practices, enhancing the quality of animal products, and supporting farmers in adopting innovative techniques.
