Al Mudhaibi Industrial City, a project floated by the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn), aims to provide a specialized environment for industrial development within North A’Sharqiyah Governorate. The tender for the project is open to companies in both Oman and Saudi Arabia, encouraging collaboration between the two nations. The first phase of the project will focus on developing approximately 2.5 million square meters of land, including essential infrastructure such as road networks, water systems, and security measures.

In addition to infrastructure, the industrial city will feature administrative offices, private parking facilities, and a service building to support the management teams. The “Masar Service Centre” will act as a centralized hub for investors, streamlining processes and facilitating business activities within the city. With a focus on sectors like mining, food, and tourism, the industrial city will leverage the availability of raw materials in the region to attract investors and promote economic growth.

Governor Mahmoud Yahya Al Dhuhli emphasized the importance of Al Mudhaibi Industrial City in creating a conducive environment for industrial growth within the governorate. By catering to various sectors and providing necessary facilities and amenities, the city aims to become a hub for investment and quality projects. Wali Sheikh Saud Mohammed Al Hinai highlighted the vast expanse of the industrial city, covering an area of 9 million square meters. During the first phase, 3 million square meters will be allocated to commercial and industrial activities, with plans to further expand in the future.

The industrial city offers a range of investment incentives to attract businesses, including tax exemptions, full ownership rights for non-Omanis, and lease contracts with a renewable option extending up to 30 years. These benefits are designed to encourage both local and foreign investors to establish their presence in the city and contribute to its economic development. With a focus on sustainable growth and diversification, Al Mudhaibi Industrial City represents a significant opportunity for businesses looking to expand their operations in Oman.

Overall, the establishment of Al Mudhaibi Industrial City marks a crucial step towards promoting industrial development and economic diversification in North A’Sharqiyah Governorate. Through strategic partnerships, infrastructure development, and investor-friendly policies, the city aims to attract businesses from various sectors and facilitate their growth and expansion. By creating a supportive and conducive environment for industrial activities, the industrial city is set to play a vital role in driving economic progress and prosperity in the region in the coming years.
