In 2024, 19,689 Bahrainis Secure Jobs as Training Exceeds Annual Target

In a recent update on the labour market, the Ministerial Committee for Community Services presented a report to the Cabinet meeting chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, highlighting the labour market indicators for Bahrain up to the third quarter of 2024. The report revealed that 19,689 Bahraini citizens secured job opportunities in the private sector, surpassing 98% of the annual target set in the Kingdom’s Economic Recovery Plan. This achievement demonstrates the joint efforts of the government and private sector in boosting employment rates among local citizens.

The Cabinet meeting, held at Gudaibiya Palace, commended the private sector companies and institutions that contributed to the employment of Bahrainis during the third quarter. The Cabinet discussed the memorandum in detail during the meeting, approving its recommendations and emphasizing the continued support for local employment initiatives and training programs.
