In the Ooredoo Stars League match between Al Rayyan and Al Ahli, Roger Guedes stole the show by scoring both goals for his team in a thrilling 2-2 draw. The game was filled with exciting moments as both teams fought hard for the win. Al Rayyan’s performance led them to secure a point in the league standings. Meanwhile, Al Ahli’s second-place position was maintained, trailing behind leaders Al Duhail by three points.

The match saw Sekou Yansane scoring the opener for Al Ahli in the fourth minute, but Guedes quickly equalized with a powerful shot from outside the box. The draw brought Al Rayyan’s points total to 10, showing a strong performance in the league.

Coach Igor Biscan of Al Ahli expressed satisfaction with the team’s performance, highlighting the chances created that could have resulted in victory. Both teams showcased their attacking capabilities throughout the match, making it an intense competition. Al Rayyan’s resilience in coming back twice from losing positions displayed their determination on the field.

In another match, Umm Salal and Al Khor played out a goalless draw at Grand Hamad Stadium. The game saw Umm Salal creating opportunities to score, with Oussama Tannane coming close in the 13th minute. Despite both teams creating chances, the defenses held strong, resulting in a stalemate with the points shared between them.
