The Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) is back with a big bang this year, offering prizes worth Dh50 million in cash draws and gifts. Organized by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), the festival will run from June 28 to September 1, providing residents and visitors with a calendar full of entertainment, fun, and discounts during the summer months.
One of the main highlights of DSS 2024 is the chance to win one of six brand-new GAC GS8 2024 vehicles through the Dubai Summer Surprises Raffle Campaign organized by Dubai Shopping Malls Group (DSMG). Shoppers who spend Dh200 or more at 18 participating malls will receive a digital raffle coupon to enter the draw, with winners being named weekly starting from July 13.
Dubai Festival City is also offering a spend and win contest where two lucky residents have the opportunity to win a Lexus hybrid SUVs. By spending Dh300 or more and uploading their receipt on the BLUE shopping app until September 1, shoppers can enter the draw for a chance to drive away in a luxurious vehicle.
For those interested in jewellery prizes, the Dubai Jewellery Group is bringing back its annual Glittering City of Gold Jewellery Deals. Customers can enjoy up to 50% off on diamond and pearl jewellery, receive instant gifts with purchases of Dh1,000 or more, and even be rewarded with gold coins for spending Dh2,500 or more on diamonds. Every purchase of Dh1,000 or more will also enter shoppers into a raffle to win one of 20 vouchers worth Dh5,000 each.
Shoppers at Wafi City can also participate in a spend and win promotion by making minimum purchases of Dh300 or more until September 1. By shopping at any outlet in Wafi Mall, Wafi Restaurants, Wafi Health Club & Spa, Khan Murjan Souk, and Wafi Hotels, visitors can register to enter a grand raffle draw for a chance to win a stunning 22.2 carat diamond necklace and earrings set valued at Dh70,000, among other prizes.
Various malls and retailers are offering cash prizes and vouchers as part of the DSS promotions. Mercato Shopping Mall and Town Centre Jumeirah are hosting a shop-and-win promotion where customers have the opportunity to win Dh5,000 in cash prizes every week until September 1 with every Dh200 spent. Additionally, the Rivoli Group’s DSS Beat the Clock promotion from July 12-14 will see customers at Rivoli EyeZone and Hour Choice entered into a draw to win vouchers valued between Dh1,000 and Dh5,000 each.
Majid Al Futtaim malls are also giving customers the chance to win big with the DSS SHARE Millionaire raffles, where six lucky winners will receive 1 million SHARE points in weekly draws until September 1. Furthermore, the rewards program Tickit is running a competition where members who link their Visa or Mastercard to the app can enter draws to win Dh10,000 in Tickit points with every three purchases at any Tickit vendor.
