Muscat: Delegated by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, HH Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan welcomed Baxtiyor Saidov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan in his office. The two officials discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields to serve mutual interests. The meeting also addressed several matters of mutual interest between Oman and Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, the officials discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in various sectors to further advance their shared interests. This includes enhancing economic ties, promoting cultural exchanges, and fostering diplomatic relations. The meeting aimed to build upon the existing partnership between Oman and Uzbekistan and explore new avenues for collaboration.

Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, the secretary general and the advisor in the office of HH Sayyid Asa’ad also attended the meeting to further discuss the mutual interests and cooperation between the two nations. AbdusalamKhatamov, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Sultanate of Oman, and the delegation accompanying the guest were also present. The meeting provided an opportunity for both sides to explore new areas of cooperation and strengthen their relations.

The visit of Baxtiyor Saidov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, to Oman highlights the commitment of both countries to enhancing their bilateral relations. The meetings held between the officials of Oman and Uzbekistan reflect the shared desire to strengthen cooperation in various fields, including trade, culture, and diplomacy. Both nations are keen on exploring new avenues for collaboration to further enhance their ties and promote mutual prosperity.
