A young man who was left unpaid and without a contract after training with a social media influencer’s advertising firm has taken legal action against the company. The company’s business registration had been canceled, leaving the man in a difficult situation. Seeking justice, he filed a lawsuit with the help of lawyer Taqi Hussain to address the issue.

The man started working with the company in September 2022 as a video designer under a training deal that was supposed to last for three months. However, by the time the training was completed in November 2022, he had not been paid his overdue wages and had not received a contract from the company. This prompted him to take legal action to ensure he received the compensation he deserved.

Lawyer Taqi Hussain explained that the plaintiff’s lawsuit aimed to compel the company to provide him with the contract they should have issued, pay his overdue wages, and compensate him for the delays he had experienced. The young man’s rights as an employee were violated, and he was determined to seek justice through the legal system to hold the company accountable for their actions.

The case highlights the importance of having a written contract in place when entering into a professional agreement with an employer. Without a contract, employees are at risk of being exploited and not receiving the compensation they are entitled to. In this situation, the lack of a formal agreement left the young man vulnerable and without proper legal protection.

The influence of social media has led to the rise of influencer marketing firms, where individuals partner with brands to promote products and services online. However, it is essential for employees working in these firms to be aware of their rights and to ensure that they have a formal contract in place to protect themselves from potential exploitation.

By taking legal action against the company, the young man has demonstrated his determination to stand up for his rights and seek justice for the unfair treatment he received. Through the lawsuit, he hopes to hold the company accountable for their actions and to receive the compensation he rightfully deserves. This case serves as a reminder of the importance of knowing one’s rights as an employee and taking action when those rights are violated.
